The Number 4 Café Bar & Restaurant is just off West Cliff, a short walk to the seafront and a mile from both the centre of Whitby and Sandsend. Easy to find, but if you require additional directions, would like to make a reservation, book a private function, do please give us a call and we will be delighted to help.

Whitby has long been famous, not only for its fishing heritage, beaches and resort attractions, but for a whole host of reasons, including: the unique skyline dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda's Abbey, the maze of narrow streets and alleys leading down to the busy quayside and the old town of Whitby with 199 steps leading up to the parish church of St. Mary. The graveyard of this church attracts many visitors as it is here on Whitby’s East Cliff that Bram Stoker found the inspiration to write his world famous book, Dracula
